Mrs. Armida Montiel

Spanish Teacher

 

Armida Galindo is a native of Mexico City and has lived in Atlanta, Georgia since 1999. Since 2006, Armida has been actively teaching Spanish in many working fields such as healthcare, law enforcement and school systems such as C.A. Roberts Elementary school and Ay Caramba Spanish Learning Center. She is committed to teaching Spanish in a dynamic and interactive way. She is also serving as Vice-President of the PTSA at East Paulding Middle School, as well as a chair representative of the Reflections Art Program for EPMS.  Under her leadership, many of her art students have received awards in several art contests. Her bi-cultural background and focus on community collaboration has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles.  Armida received her Bachelor in Science of Communications with a minor in marketing and advertising from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
