Admissions Process
Step 1: Apply
Fill out a formal Promise Christian Academy application, submit $150 application fee, and return it to: 156 Poplar Springs Road; Hiram, GA 30141. You will be contacted by phone to set up a parent interview and student testing session for your child. Upon completion of the parent interview, student testing session, and record review, students who are accepted to Promise Christian Academy will be notified by a formal acceptance letter. Students must have at least a "B" average and no disciplinary record.
Step 2: Educational Records
Turn in Education Records to PCA. This includes all educational, psychological records, and transcripts for the applicant.
Step 3: Applicant Testing
Applicants in Kindergarten through 8th grade may be tested for consideration of admission. Test dates are scheduled by the administrator.
Step 4: Teacher Recommendation Form
Must be completed by the most recent teacher or principal and received prior to the final consideration of applicant for admission (Home schooled students are not required to complete the Teacher Recommendation form).
Step 5: Pastor/Church Leader Recommendation Form
This form must be completed by your current pastor or church leader for the church which you attend and returned directly to PCA. While it is not required that you are a member of a church, we highly recommend that our school families be members of and involved in a local Bible-based church.
Step 6: Other Forms Required
Georgia Immunization Form 3231
DHR Eye, Ear, and Dental Form 3300
Birth Certificate (copy is acceptable)
Step 7: Parent/Student Interview
All parents and students may be interviewed by the school administrator prior to the determination of final acceptance.
Step 8: Notification of Decision
After formal notification of acceptance to PCA by letter, the following items are necessary to secure enrollment:
Registration Fee of $300 per family
Curriculum Fee -- $400 for K-5th; $425 for 6th-8th
Matriculation Fee -- $325 for K-5th; $350 for 6th-8th
